Being offered for sale: BEAUTIFUL REPLICA of 3 consecutively numbered Confederate Artillery issue notes.
Unlike other replicas, this note has the look of a circulated original with the look of all the creases, wrinkles, "muddiness", and, minor foxing, yet

from the digitally restored templates (as pictured). These, however, were reproduced from an excellent originals!

Please keep in mind that the Confederate paper money was made pretty cheap. Cheap meaning that the paper used was very thin. This helped darker colors from the front to bleed through to the back and darker colors on the back, sometimes, to bleed through to the front. Generally, the colors from the front bled through to the back more so than back to front. We opted not to edit this out so that any side to side bleed through, if any, remains to help provide a more authentic look and to maintain this historical error.

Keep in mind that these notes are considerably larger, about 1/3 of the size larger than modern day paper money as all the old paper money was prior to 1928.
These were
digitally remasted from original notes. A more refreshing, inexpensive investment than a reproduction with that "crisp" new look. This might be a smart investment, too, to display the notes you love without risking loss or damage to your originals. Originals also sell for a hefty price. These notes come as a complete front and back centered on an 8  1/2 X 11 inch uncut page for framing on quality paper since it is intended for framing. You also receive one back side centered on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch uncut sheet. It would be up to you if you would like to trim the sheet. The back of the note is duly marked as "copy" as well as the front side of the note in an inconspicuous spot so as not to detract from the overall appearance. These are not framed so you may choose the style & form you wish to mount these in.  This is in compliance with Federal laws regarding the sale of reproduction (early) American currency as well as the rules established here on E bay.
