Up for bids is a great pair of strong testing, black glass 6V6GT power amplifier tubes made by Tung-Sol.
Tube 1 on the left is branded for N.J.R.T.
Tube 2 on the right is branded for Delco.
Both tubes are identical in appearance and construction including "black"  glass (a thick layer of graphite sprayed inside the tube to act as an RF shield) and extra strong copper grid support posts.  Both bases are good and tight.
These 6V6GT's were tested for transconductance (Gm), noise, gas, and shorts on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester using a digital meter for greater accuracy.
A TV-7/U reading of 82 (Gm=4100*) is considered "new"
for the
6V6GT tube. *Data is from the RCA Receiving Tube Manual.
The TV-7/U minimum recommended value (65%) is 46 (Gm=2300).
