Original Amek DMCL Pure Path Mic Amp and Compressor. Developed by the Legendary designer Rupert Neve in UK. Amek was a brilliant company formed in the early 70's building recording and broadcast consoles. In 1989 ARN Consultants entered into a consultancy agreement with Graham Langley and Nick Franks, owners of Amek Systems and Controls Ltd of Manchester England to design a new range of consoles and outboard equipment. Their outboard is generally good or very good and the DMCL Pure Path Dual Mic-amp Compressor-Limiter is no exception.
AMEK DMCL is a dual-channel microphone amplifier and compressor / limiter which offers all of the sound quality and much of the flexibility of the Channel In A Box (CIB). A glorious class A Neve Pre's with super useful filters and ultra snappy and nice sounding compressors. Every part of this unit is on a professional level, which makes it a very useful and versatile studio tool for recording, mixing and all sorts of creative approach.
Used minimally and in working condition. Minor scraping on the top from pulling out of the rack and that's it. Sold As Is with No Returns
