This is a used projector bulb, ansi designation DLS. It is also a common substitute for the DLG and DHX, having the same voltage, wattage, and pin configuration.
This shows signs of usage, with a little darkening at the top, and some small bits of glass inside (the glass particles usually happen when these are tested at the production factory).
I did test this in an actual projector, which is much better than a simple continuity check (with an ohmmeter).
For protection, I will be sending this in a substitute box, since I do not have the original.
General Electric rates their DLS (and DLG and DHX) bulbs with an AVERAGE life of 15 hours, though that depends on other variables. Since this is used, the remaining life will be less, though it doesn't look like it was used a lot.
