Description

Used fiberglass "Turbo Style"  FENDER FLARE MOLDS in which to make aftermarket Turbo Flares for BMW 1600 & 2002 coupe from 1964-1976.  Molds are heavy fiberglass with reinforcements on back and gel coat surface front.  Please LOOK CAREFULLY at photos to see condition.  These molds are used but very serviceable to produce parts from. Production of such parts requires detailed TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and SKILL in fiberglass work.  Usual technique for this mold would be waxing sequence, spraying on catalyzed gel coat for part surface, and hand- laying appropriate multiple layers of fiberglass mat wet with catalyzed resin. Photos #11 & 12 of flares on car is how the completed parts will look installed; NEITHER FINISHED AIRDAM, FLARES OR CAR are included in this sale.  Molds are large and heavy- local pickup is easiest, but custom packing and shipping is possible but expensive.  Please also see separate listing for AIRDAM MOLD which complements these flares for same vehicle. SHIPPING DETAIL: We ship to United States addresses only, no FPO or APO. Shipping must be to the "confirmed" address of successful bidder only. Shipping is by UPS Ground (United Parcel Service). Shipping price is estimated with the e-bay shipping calculator, and includes a small packing/handling charge and insurance. Note that we have to estimate shipping weights and package sizes BEFORE we pack the item. Thus both buyer and seller are AGREEING to a definate shipping cost which may be different than the incurred actual cost at the time the box is shipped. Transit time is out of our control, and yes it sometimes takes longer than it seems like it should. This shipping does seem to be the most economical, especially for our larger or heavier items.
