Up for bids is a strong testing, Ken-Rad 6B4G smoked black glass power triode amplifier tube.
The 6B4G is the 6-volt octal version of the 2A3.
This Ken-Rad 6B4G has black, box-shaped plates, hanging filaments (for super low noise), foil getter, a set of twelve (12) support rods to supress microphonics along with bright bottom flashing.   The upper portion of the tube has black smoked glass (a very thick layer of graphite sprayed inside the tube to act as an RF shield).   This tube was made by Ken-Rad and branded for General Electric although the base branding has all but worn off.
The base is tight with no loose particles inside the base or tube.
This Ken-Rad 6B4G was tested for transconductance (Gm), noise, gas, and shorts on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester using a digital meter upgrade that also measures plate current.
The TV-7/U minimum recommended value (65%) for the 6B4G is 38 (Gm=1900).
