This listing is for a stunning Lalique clear and frosted crystal Nina Ricci L' AIR DU TEMPS large store display factice perfume bottle. This stunning crystal perfume bottle has a clear round body with a swirl design with the stopper shaped as a pair of frosted doves in flight. This bottle was designed by Marc Lalique for Nina Ricci in 1951 and has been one of the most popular perfume bottles ever made. They were made in several sizes, however, this large store display bottle is by far the largest and most impressive. These large bottles were used in the high-end retail stores that sold the perfume and were filled with colored water to simulate the look of the actual perfume. You can easily replicate the colored water at home if you wish the jar to be filled. The bottle has the original Nina Ricci Paris paper label on the bottom.
Measures 12" high (with stopper in place), 7 1/2" high (to top of bottle) with a 2 7/8" diameter top. The stopper has a wing span of 12 1/2" (from tip of top wing to tip of lower wing). Weighs 7.6 pounds. Holds 42 oz. liquid.
Both the bottle and stopper are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
