You are bidding on an old Lalique "Gao" crystal dish.  Originally a cendrier (ashtray), it may also be used for a paperweight, candy, soaps or a trinket dish.
The Art Deco Gao pattern consists of 8 round clear cabochons surrounded by a frosted textured intertwined braiding.
The bottom of the dish is engraved in script "Lalique France", this mark is pre-1978.
The dish measures approx. 4 1/4" in diameter.
There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
This item is an estate piece and in excellent vintage condition. We would remind bidders that this item is vintage & pre-owned with associated surface wear, all consistent with the age & use of the item, such as fine scratches on the bottom.
