Description
Manufactured by the factory SPO "Lighting"(СПО «Светотехника»)
in the 80s of the USSR
A low-pressure discharge lamp of the sodium type DNaS18 has a linear emission spectrum and is used in spectroscopy, refractometry, polarimetry, chemistry, lighting and other fields. The radiation generated by the lamps with a wavelength of 589-589.6 nm is close to the maximum sensitivity of the eye.
The lamp is designed for operation from an alternating current main with a frequency of 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 220 V with appropriate ballast equipment. The operating mode of combustion is set 15 minutes after switching on.
The burning position of the lamp is vertical with the base down.
It is not recommended to operate the lamps at a current differing from the nominal one by + 15%.
