VTG 1940s Kaufmann robe men burgundy wine red rayon ? satin belt EXC L XL ?

I feel a gentleman received this in the heyday of smoking jackets / robes ~ stored it, after a wear or two. The buttons that have been snipped can easily be replaced.  Surely could be worn by women too. It's real luxury.
Clean shawl collar, in shape.
One button closure at lapel.
Cuffs are split and one side is rounded.
Belt is self with fringe at each end. Intact. No issues or wonkiness.
Fabric is most likely rayon. There is no content label; I am going from experience.  See the gorgeous movement of print.
Shoulders are slightly padded. Not wonky at all.
Underarms show no sign of wear or staining.
Interior is beautiful wine color, and is attached to shell.

underarm across is 24"
waist across is 24"
length is 50"
shoulder seam to shoulder seam across is 20"
sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve opening is 26.5"
NO ODOR. ROBE WILL BE STORED FLAT IN A CLEAN, DRY, COTTON LINED BOX.
